Time for Tech Saturdays at Dance Is A Feeling!

Today marks the first of our new, weekly Tech House feature. As you know*, this means PHENOMENAL Tech House joints from my personal DJ bag, which can only be a good thing for your urge to dance! Tech House is one of the more energetic subgenres of House, but it’s quite different from Trance or Techno, so I’m here to introduce new listeners to this exciting style!

If you follow my DJ mixes or house radio show, you’ve already heard this track. It was on my 2011 Thanksgiving mix, Dancegiving 2010. It’s also in my latest episode of Danny Dance Radio, much to the delight of any House Music lover’s eardrums. Part of why I enjoy the tune so much is its clever use of the popular refrain “House Is A Feeling“, flipping the phrase to signify that House is more than just a feeling: House is something we can all believe in. The result is a male- & female-inclusive talk track that never gets too chatty or disrupts the flow of the dancing it’s supposed to inspire—and inspire it does. House DJ and producer Marshall aka Luigi Rocca did a great job with this house record (which could also technically be considered Deep House, by the way), and the track has been remixed since its original 2010 release, on the label 303Lovers.
