Another quick update.  I just discovered the joys of QR codes.  Ahh, technology’s so cool!  If you have an iPhone or Android (or any smartphone with a camera and a QR scanner app like Quickmark, Scan, or i-nigma), then break it out right this second and scan the image above.  For those that don’t already know, a QR code is like a barcode—but not just any barcode.  It’s more like a link to a website, a text, a picture, or even contact info; when you point your camera to the QR code, it automatically takes your phone to its destination.  For instance, if you’ve got money like Kanye and can afford it, you might put up a billboard with a QR code to a special 808 and Heartbreaks ringtone (note: obviously, the code below won’t work because it’s slanted, but in real life you could have scanned it).  Lupe Fiasco used a QR Code in Times Square.

Anyhow, SDHC, a super cool House musical concept, begins May 31. You will definitely want to be in on the fun…so scan that QR code to join the list!

Sorry for the radio silence this week.  What with wrapping up production on my debut EP (due out next month on 1200 Traxx) and upgrading my studio with some sweet Yamaha HS80Ms and a new audio interface, I didn’t have much time to breathe this past week—hence the lack of posts here on the blog.

I’ve also been hard at work scheming: for the next month, you’re going to see a mysterious photo across all my social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, and so on).  I can’t say a whole lot, but let’s just say it’s something very exciting, very fresh, and very for you.  The only hint I can give you is to check in every day on any of said networks and to look closely at the picture you see each day
